The concrete roof tiles of ALMA are manufactured according to the highest international quality standards being the outcome of years of research and testing. The manufacturing process takes place in Thessaloniki, at an ultra-modern production plant which gets the most out of the expertise and the know-how of specialized foreign firms.
The quartz sand, a 100% natural product, from the sand pits in Axios river is used as the raw material. During the manufacturing process, the tiles are dried in fully controlled conditions of temperature and humidity and the final product is fully symmetrical, with excellent texture, high durability and properties that make it an "all-weather tile"!
The sophisticated coloring of the tile is a triple-layer one providing a self-cleaning effect potential. It creates a protective film that retains dust and small particles that are removed by the rain water, preventing, thus, the growth of microorganisms as well as the mold growth over time.
